DESCRIPTION: A.P. Walsh, London, a silver cased, keyless pocket chronometer with wind indicator and duo in uno balance spring, 16- 17 jewels, stem wind and pin set, gilt half plate movement with Earnshaw's escapement, free sprung balance with diamond endstone and gold timing screws in a sterling silver, hinged back and snap bezel open face case with London hallmark, and date letter for the year 1913, and Roman numeral, double sunk white enamel dial, blued steel spade and whip hands, serial #2036, 51mm.
CONDITION: CASE: Back with minor dent; Minor scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on inner surface of case; Minor scratches on crystal; Pendant repaired; Precious metal content marked. Later purpose made case. DIAL: Hairlines in enamel, light, 1:00, 10:00, edge. HANDS: Minor oxide, hour; Minor loss to blue. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Marks and scratches at case screw; Specks of dirt / dust. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
